first of all i'm not katrina here under a false name. i not only lived at 4625 junius street for 15 months but i worked for katrina and joel showing units, property cleaning, and doing walk-thru's with tenants upon their move out. approx. 1 year ago i did 3 walk-thru's at 4414 worth street. i had one tenant not show up for their walk-thru at all, one ask me to come back later when they were not ready only to to be there when i came back, and another also ask for more time only to tell me when i came back that they were not ready and would settle up with katrina later. this tenant also caused me and katrina to make 3 court appearances that they did not show up for when they disputed not getting their deposit back (which they did not deserve). this inconvenienced me as well as katrina.

when i went back to do the walk-thru's after the tenants had left i found the units left in deplorable condition. i found piles of trash and clothes, piles of kitchen supplies, pet hair in refrigerators, grime build up on stoves and kitchen sinks, bathroom showers that were dirty to the point of turning brown in color, bathroom floors that were dirty to the point of turning yellow and brown in color, filthy bathroom sinks, burn marks on walls and ceilings, filthy glass windows and doors, shelves that were dusty and dirty, holes in walls, doors pulled off hinges, and dirty and damaged concrete floors. i took pictures of everything i found to prove my walk-thru documentation was accurate. this was not "normal wear and tear". the units were obviously not taken care of and obviously damaged to the point of needed a lot of repair.

when i moved out i left my unit just as i had found it. i not only got my complete deposit back but katrina thanked me for leaving the unit "ready for the next tenant to move right in". there's no way that these former tenants would not have gotten the same courtesy from katrina if they had left their units just as they had found them, or contacted katrina immediately if they had any maintenance or damage issues.

and as far as katrina or joel being rude or unprofessional...if anyone would have seen that, it would have been me since i lived their and worked for them. they were alway completely courteous to me (even when i broke a rule or two here and there) and never were unprofessional to me as a landlord or an employer.

i miss me neighbors and friends on junius street and would (and have) recommended the property to lots of my friends.

I can honestly say that I have had NO BAD experiences during my time at 4414 Worth St. I have always found Katrina and Joel to be most accommodating with questions and requests that I have made. Maintenance issues have always been handled VERY promptly (even at nights and on the weekends). I travel a lot for work and have come to trust and rely on my neighbors (and Katrina and Joel) to keep an eye on things in my absence and have been most thankful to have neighbors and landlords that I can turn to while I am away. I appreciate the sense of community that Katrina and Joel try to establish by providing 'gatherings' such as movie nights, etc. for the two properties.

I have lived in those big multi-unit places before, but I much prefer the smaller places like 4414 Worth St. Katrina and Joel took the time to get to know me and frequently ask me how things are going and if I need anything (I never got that treatment at a Post Property).

I 'broke the rules' one time and had a friend park in the gated area (totally my fault) and I was politely reminded that this was not allowed. I took care of the parking immediately....but the issue was MY fault and disrespectful to my neighbors who count on those parking spaces. I am appreciative to Katrina and Joel that they would 'call me on the carpet' and hold me accountable....I would want them to do the same if a neighbor was not respecting the rules!

I would totally recommend this property to anyone!

P.S. I am NOT Katrina's brother (or Joel's for that matter)!

bruce4414 is either katrina kaye posting under a false name or he hasn't yet had the experience of moving out of the property only to find out she is keeping his deposit AND slapping him with more than a grand in extra fees for things that other landlords consider normal wear and tear.

please, heed my advice and stay away from her and her properties. it will cause you nothing but grief.

she is a member of the landlord protection agency...look at their website and see the way they run things over there to get an inkling into how she sees her tenants: like piggy banks that she can squeeze every last dime out of.

If you are a F%^CK up she won't like you but she runs a tight ship. She wants everyone to treat each other right and be respectful of their neighbor. So there is no trashy people or rude partiers at the property. Property is totally cool with it Zen courtyard.

The property management (katrina) is always working on the place and really takes pride in the property (I have never seen that at another building).

I have never stayed in an apartment more then a year before and I am signing my third here. Tells you something!


My movers didn't show up to move me and she and the handi man helped me move. Now that is service.

Anyone who writes a bad reveiw about this women is someone she kicked out for there behavior. (and we have a few bad apples and a lot of brats: that she asked to leave or forced out and the place is a lot better now for it!!!!!!) Other reveiws on the site: are from some of the bad seeds of the property. I know who you are and I am glad you are gone. Don't blame her for not putting up with your bull. Myself and others complained and she listen and got rid of you...THANK GOD!!! A property manager who cares about her tenant quality of life.What a luxury.

Oh, and this property is sweet.

Maintance issues are resolved in 24 hours , but really she gets them done in about 4 hours (and I have never been charged!!) Just email a maintance request in and it get sloved. Now that is service.

Securty is tight: electronic hand held remote controls for security gates, security cameras,courtsy patrol. Very Safe HOOD
